The idea of that makes him sigh pleasantly.

"...I would really love that." He laughs, smiling utterly blissfully to him. "...Staying over. Breakfast is just a bonus." He explains, running a thumb over Ludger's jawline.

"Mm, you don't have to lie, I know you're just with me for my cooking," he teases and then kisses him again. "Put on pants, though. Elle loves to crawl into bed with me in the morning."

The comment makes him laugh out loud, but not too loudly, still keeping a tab on his volume.

"Alright. Don't need that to be a problem." He shakes his head and pushes himself out of the bed, stumbling just a little bit for obvious reasons. He turns a little red at the feeling and grabs his boxers and pants off the ground. He puts them back on and crawls back in, looping his arms around Ludger tightly.

Ludger sighs deeply but he's clearly extremely happy.

"Goodnight, Julius," he says, snuggled up against him. He almost says 'I love you' but decides against it. Not quite yet.

"Goodnight, Ludger." He says, warm, definitely lovingly. He wants to say it, too, but it's... much too early. Soon, though, he tells himself.

Waking up in Julius' arms is the nicest thing that's happened to him in ages. He doesn't want to get up and he hits snooze on his phone alarm three times before he eventually stirs.

"...morining," he mumbles sleepily, so sleepily he isn't sure it's understandable.

Julius hasn't slept this well in ages. Decades, even. Ludger is warm in his arms and cute as ever, and it's more of a comfort than he could have even hoped for. He heaves a soft sigh and shifts a little bit upwards to let Ludger get the alarm.

"Good morning..." He says, stroking his hair gently.

He reluctantly gets out of the bed and shuts his alarm off. He stretches and yawns and then crawls back into bed just for some extra snuggle time. He was going to be running late but he was okay with that.

"You're never allowed to leave," he decides. "I haven't slept so well in years."

"I wouldn't want to. I haven't sleep this well in a decade, more or less." He utterly agrees, kissing his forehead. "...I just keep finding more things to lo--like about you." He catches himself and laughs, lightly, meeting his eyes.

Ludger grins like the lovestruck idiot he is and kisses him.

"Okay, breakfast," he says and pulls away from him. "Any requests?"

"Mmh. How about something with eggs?" He asks gently, though he feels bittersweet about him pulling away. If he could have his way he'd stay in bed for hours with him. "If you show me what to do, I can help Elle get up."

"She's pretty self sufficient in the morning, just help her get dressed," he says as he pulls on his clothes for the day. "She learned that if she gets ready on her own she gets breakfast."

The door almost slams open then, the tiny girl with her hands on her hips. She spies Julius's spiky hair and looks like an awfully satisfied cat.

"Good morning, Lulu! And Juli!" She squeaks, moving to the side of the bed to pull on Julius's hand.

"Good morning, Elle." Julius laughs, sliding out of the bed to ruffle her hair. "How did you sleep?"

"Good!" She grins widely.

Ludger ruffles her hair affectionately. She sure was attached to Julius already. Not that he was one to talk.

"What do you want for breakfast, dear?" He asks her.

"Cereal!" She stares up to him. "Hey, Lulu, does Juli live here now?" Julius almost chokes.

"N-Not yet." Oh no. He said yet. Not just 'no'. He turns red.

"Maybe someday," he tells her and he shoots Julius the biggest, stupidly smug grin he's ever had on his face.

Not yet, huh? He snickers as he pushes Elle out of his room and towards the table do he can make them all breakfast.

He gives Elle her cereal first as he cooks eggs and toast for him and Julius.

"Well, hurry it up. Juli told me he had a cat. I want a cat too!" She says, as Julius helps her up to her seat. She digs in happily.

"I... I mean, I do. His name is Rollo." He laughs and starts to eat his own food. "Thank you."

Ludger is far too amused that Elle wants Julius to move in but he can't bring himself to dissuade her from that train of thinking. Besides, if they were always this perfect together they'd be moving in together any day, probably. There wasn't anything that could ruin what they had, short film discovering they were related or something. But then again, Ludger doubted even that would stop him. It hadn't ever stopped him in the past, anyway.

He eats and quietly thinks of how nice this would be to have every morning.

Elle busies herself with her food and kicks her legs like she always does, happy that nobody explicitly said he wasn't going to stay around here.

Julius absolutely thinks it over. Maybe in a few weeks. Maybe less. He sighs lightly, the idea making him smile pleasantly. Ludger seems to be thinking the same thing... and that only makes him smile wider.

Ludger piles the dishes in the sink once they're finished and sets about getting everything else ready for the day. He helps Elle brush her teeth and he does her hair and whatever else she may need.

And then it's time to head to school and then work.

He sighs softly.

"Julius," he says softly. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too." He laments, just as softly. He knows he shouldn't, not in front of Elle, but he kisses his lips chastely.

She squeaks and yells out "Ewwww," but it makes him smile.

Ludger smirks at Elle's disgust. She's so innocent.

"I'll see you soon," he promises him. "Have a good day at work."

"You too. And have a good day at preschool, Elle." She grins and nods, even despite her previous disgust. The pair of them are just too cute. Julius doubts he could really ever be happier than when they're around.
